Korean Seasoned and Simmered Chicken
Ingredients
Whole Chicken - about 800g cleaned and cut - rub with lime juice for a while and rinse
Big onions
Carrot
Potatoes
Leek and green chilli slice (optional)
Seasoning - combine and mix well
light sauce
crushed garlic
hot chilli paste - 1 tbsp
chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Ginger juice - 1 tbsp
ground black pepper
sugar
sesame oil
Method
Heat oil and brown onions - dish and set aside
Heat oil and brown chicken til golden
Pour in Half the seasoning and cook till boil - abt 7 mins
add carrot and potato and onion plus remaining seasoning
Cook tilll chicken is tender but vegetables are not mushy
Lower heat and simmer for 20 mins
Garnish with leek and green chilli
